Really not sure if this is the right place for this or not. Im just struggling to find the right place!!

My dad left my Mum when I was 2 and my brother was 3 months old. He never returned.

Im now 36 and I have found out where he lives and a little bit about him.

I would like to make contact but via a professional 3rd party. I don't feel I can just go and knock on the door!.

Does anybody know of any 3rd parties that offer this service? Or recommend one.
I can't seem to find anything.

Many Thanks for reading
S.

    Hi S

It's natural that you want to find your father after all this time - you must have so much to ask him. It's also very brave and understandable that are feeling apprehensive so it's a good idea to get some professional help. The Salvation Army offer a Family Tracing Service and you can contact them on 020 7367 4747. As you have already done the first bit by finding out where your father is living they will help you with the next step which could be them making initial contact with him or assisting you to write a letter. I hope it works out - good luck.
