Discharge of non molestation order

After Separation

Hi I'm just wondering if anyone can help, these things always happen on a weekend when I can't speak to my dv support worker! So I've had a non mol in place for the last 12 months and it was successfully extended for a further 6 months earlier this month. My ex is having fortnightly contact with our son for three hours. The handover of our son is being facilitated by a contact centre (at my ex's expense) until the family courts decide on whether his family members can act as mediator (I've opposed this due to several factors) I appreciate to some it may appear that I am being obstructive but this 'man' is a nasty violent aggressive individual. Today I've received a later stating that there is a hearing due to 'discharge' the non mol? Does this mean that my ex has opposed the order (he breached the previous order and got a suspended sentence). Would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

    Thanks for your post.
Yes, it certainly looks like your ex may be applying for the order to be discharged but that doesn't mean the court will do it if there are reasons not to! Who has sent the letter to you? Can you attend the hearing and put your side of things?

Hi thanks for you yr reply. The letter is from my local county court. I hopefully shall attend with my school support worker as I am not in a position to have legal representation.
