Hello
Can any mods tell me for what reason Getting it right for the children is not ok to use in cases with domestic abuse?

Thanks

    Hi,
Can you just say a bit more about the background to your question? I wasn't aware of this comment about the programme.

The disclaimer at the beginning warns that the programme is not suitable when domestic violence is an issue.

Hi, sorry for the delay. Have been doing a little bit of research on this.
I think the 'disclaimer' would be intended to be protective for people who are at risk of domestic abuse or violence
because the programme advocates direct communication and negotiation between parents and this might be risky. In some cases even just talking to one another can expose one or other of them to further abuse in the form of criticism, denigration etc.
    I hope this helps.
