After Separation

My ex was seeing our son every second weekend for two hours supervised contact. We had a fact finding recently and the judge found my ex and his family to have anger issues and be violent. The judge has allowed contact to go from supervised to unsupervised in the community. He has made an order that my ex must not take our son to his house/family house or for his family to be present during their time together. Last weekend my son saw his dad and told me when he returned that he was taken to his fathers house - which is stated in the court order that he must not do. How severe is this breach? What can happen to my ex if I bring this to the courts attention?

Thank you for my post. I'm guessing that the directions the court has given about how and where your son sees his dad have been laid out to ensure his safety and well being during visits. I'm sure, therefore, that it's important that you let the court know what's happening. There may need to be another hearing for the court to decide what should happen next - such as contact reverting to the previous arrangements, perhaps.
